Jack - Nose Kiss

"Alright, Jackie boy, I think you're done," Des said as he finished pouring a cup of lukewarm water over his son's head to make sure that all the shampoo and soap was out of his hair. Then he grabbed a fluffy towel off the rack and pulled the plug from the tub, letting the water drain away.

He grinned brightly at the little boy as he wrapped the towel around him and scooped him up in his arms. "Gotta get you in your jammies and then I'll read you a story, how's that sound?"

"Yaaaaay!" Jack exclaimed, grinning brightly at his daddy.

Des grinned and quickly towel dried the little boy, ruffling up his hair. His Pull-Ups went on, followed by his blue spacemen pajamas, and then Jack was picked up and carried off to bed. Des tucked him into his bed and settled down on the edge to read him The Three Little Pigs.

After tiring himself out with the huff and puff parts of the story, Jack fell asleep, and Des smiled softly as he leaned over him. "Good night, little man," he whispered. "Sleep tight." He pressed a gentle kiss to the tip of Jack's nose and affectionately ruffled his hair before quietly backing out of the room and shutting the door.
