Desmond gave a sheepish little grin at Michael's explanation. That made sense, after all. He had no reason to suspect that Michael was lying to him.
"Yeah, I guess burning would be pretty bad, huh? The lobster look is never good on anybody." he said with a laugh. He laid back down, settling back into a comfortable position and started to reach for Michael's hand again, but something made him hesitate.
